Revenue Generation & Marketing

About Kristen Zivago

Common.Elements.Image.Web

Kristin Zhivago is a revenue coach who helps business owners increase sales by making it easier for clients to buy. She is the president of a revenue growth services consultancy and digital marketing agency, Zhivago Partners, and author of the 5-star book, Roadmap to Revenue: How to Sell the Way Your Clients Want to Buy.

Kristin is an expert on the client’s buying process. She has interviewed thousands of clients for hundreds of organizations and uses that information to build marketing efforts that bring in a steady stream of qualified leads.

As a revenue coach, Kristin performed marketing and sales department turnarounds for small, mid-sized, and large companies, including Dow Jones and IBM. She wrote all of the instructions for the IBM copywriters and gave workshops for marketers worldwide for IBM.

After decades as a revenue coach, by 2017 Kristin was convinced that there were many established organizations that were having trouble competing with up-and-coming, digitally savvy competitors, so she founded Zhivago Partners, a digital marketing agency.

Now, with AI sweeping through the business world, she and her team are providing a Revenue Growth Assessment that identifies new market opportunities and, at the same time, identifies barriers to the sale that clients encounter as they try to buy.

Zhivago Partners combines client, partner, and staff interviews, an analysis of marketing efforts, and AI tools to create a map of where the firm is succeeding and how it could increase sales.

Kristin believes that marketing makes promises that companies either keep or break. Promises kept lead to more sales; promises broken destroy sales and reputations and take the power out of all marketing efforts. A firm’s actions can be the firms’ worst marketing enemy.

Kristin speaks frequently on a variety of podcasts about the client’s buying process and how organizations can use the greatest resource they already have—their own clients—to understand the client’s Mindset when they set out to buy. A client's Mindset consists of their desires, concerns, and questions, which are best discovered in properly conducted interviews. No amount of AI persona-building and market research will provide the revenue-producing insights that clients reveal in these conversational interviews.

Kristin’s goal with every engagement is to make sure that members of the audience can take at least one (but hopefully several) actionable ideas and put those ideas to work immediately.
